Identification Loaches of the genus Pangio are distributed in India and most of Indochina and the Sunda Islands (Kottelat & Lim, 1993). They comprise 31 valid species of small, elongated, eel-like cypriniforms commonly known as eel-loaches.
General Remarks This is nearly always sold under the incorrect identification of Pangio kuhli.
