Species Information | |
Identification | This cory can be imagined as having the body of C. armatus with an arc stripe. The coloration is variable, with some specimens having a solid arc and others having the arc broken along the body (similar to C. evelynae). Although in some ways similar to C. urucu, CW159 grows nearly twice as long. |
General Remarks | This fish has been imported recently to Aquarium Glaser and sold as "cf. urucu," but it appears to be a distinct species. It originates from the Rio Purus area. |
