Scientific Name Tenellus ternetzi  (Eigenmann, 1925)
Common Name
Type Locality Rio Tapajos at Santarém, Amazon River system, Brazil.
Synonym(s) Nemadoras ternetzi, Opsodoras ternetzi
Etymology Tenellus comes from the Latin tener, meaning delicate, in reference to the delicate appearance of those dorads.
