Scientific Name Pseudotropheus johannii  Eccles, 1973
Common Name Kobaltorangebarsch (Germany)
Type Locality South of Cape Ngombo, eastern shore of Lake Malawi [Lake Nyasa], Malawi, 13°45'S, 34°50'E.
Etymology Pseudotropheus: Greek, pseudes = false + Greek, tropaion = defeat, a memorial of a fighting war, trophy; because of their specialized teeth were such an obvious feeding adaptation.
