Scientific Name Lepidarchus adonis  Roberts, 1966
Common Name Adonis-Salmler (Germany)
Type Locality Small stream east of Mpataba, Ghana, about 5°05'N, 2°35'W.
Etymology Lepidarchus: from Greek, lepis = scale and the greek, archos = anus, presumably in reference to only having one small scale either side of the anal fin.
