Scientific Name Campylomormyrus alces  (Boulenger, 1920)

Type Locality Stanley [Boyoma] Falls, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Etymology Campylomormyrus: Greek, kampylos = bent + Greek, mormyros = a fish (Sparus sp).
