Type Locality	Upper Rio Negro, eastern Amazonas, Brazil (probably forest brooks crossing "new army road", northern São Gabriel da Cachoeira).
Pronunciation	kor ee doh rass (lineage eight subclade four). - IMM i tate orr
Etymology	Cory = helmet, doras = skin. In this case it was incorrectly used to mean armour (cuirasse) instead of skin in allusion to the dual rows of plates that run along the flanks of this genus. This specific epithet literally means to imitate (imitator=imitate, mimic) and refers to its likeness in appearance with the C39 species.
