Type Locality	Aquarium specimens said to be from near the town of Boa Vista, Roraima State, Brazil [possibly from the Rio Branco].
Pronunciation	kor ee doh rass (lineage nine).
Etymology	. Named to honour Master Kane Grant, the author's son.
