Scientific Name	**Oreoglanis macroptera** (Vinciguerra, 1890)
Common Name
Type Locality	Khahyen Hills, Upper Myanmar.
Synonym(s)	Euchiloglanis macropterus, Exostoma macropterum, Glyptosternum macropterum, Oreoglanis macropterum
Etymology	Greek, oreos = mountain+Greek, glanis = Latin
Species Information
Size	60mm or 2.4" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification	A key to the species of the genus Oreoglanis is found HERE. Lower lip lacking a median notch and having an entire posterior margin. Caudal fin emarginate. Male genital papilla immediately behind the anus in a depression terminating posteriorly with a straight transverse wall.
