Identification This species has 4 pairs of slender barbels, including short nasals, maxillaries longest, eyes large, olive grey with off-white abdomen.
General Remarks Fast flowing water over rocks with water ferns is the known natural habitat. See also Freshwater Fishes of Southern Africa; Skelton, pg.214.
