General Remarks This is a rare species in the hobby. It has been imported a few times but only by travelling aquarists. It is closely related to Corydoras burgessi and Corydoras melanistius from Brazil.

Feeding Small crustaceans (Daphnia,Cyclops, Brine shrimp), worms (Tubifex, Grindal, Whiteworm, & chopped earth worm). Most commercial flake, tablet and granular foods accepted. User data.
Furniture Natural habitat: Sand substrate with leaf litter. Natural habitat is low in aquatic vegetation, overhanging vegetation.
Compatibility A very peaceful species that will be happy in most community aquaria.
Suggested Tankmates Avoid keeping them with aggressive species.
Breeding Has been bred under aquarium conditions and follows the typical Corydoradinae 'T' mating ritual.
