Scientific Name Cetopsorhamdia boquillae  Eigenmann, 1922
Common Name
Type Locality Boquilla, Río Cauca, Colombia.
Etymology Cetopsorhamdia: Greek, ketos = a marine monster or whale and the Brazilian vernacular name, Nhamdia/Jamdia.
