Identification The main feature of this genus is the extended lower lobe of the caudal fin which has a greenish / blue sheen in this species.

Feeding Primarily a vegetarian, especially when younger.
Furniture Needs adequate refuge and a reasonable amount of swimming space because of its flighty nature.
Compatibility Peaceful and not territorial. An active, pretty pleco for the larger community tank.

Aqualog L093 and L195 matches DATZ L093. L195 in DATZ is a picture of an adult fish. Aqualog also shows this fish as L192, but the DATZ L192 is, most likely, as species of Hypostomus.
