Scientific Name	**Corydoras (lineage 5) nanus** Nijssen & Isbrücker, 1967
Common Names	Little Corydoras Minipansermalle (Denmark)
Type Locality	Little tributaries of Gran-Rio between Ligoria (= Ligolio) and Awaradam Falls, Brokopondo, Suriname.
Pronunciation	kor ee doh rass (lineage five).
Etymology	Cory = helmet, doras = skin. In this case it was incorrectly used to mean armour (cuirasse) instead of skin in allusion to the dual rows of plates that run along the flanks of this genus. nanus; dwarf.
Species Information
Size	45mm or 1.8" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
General Remarks	Only ten specimens were collected by scientists and are stored in museum collections and it's a very infrequent aquarium import. The description of the fish doesn't help with identification as (a) there are now several other similar species described and (b) the type material was sub-adult or juvenile fish.
