Common Name
Type Locality Pu-Er County, Xiaoganlanba, Simao Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China.
Pronunciation kloop ee sow mah
Etymology Clupisoma: Latin, clupea = sardine, derived from Clupeus = shield; doubtless a reference to the sacles covering the body of the fish + Greek, soma = body.
