Common Name
Type Locality Minas Gerais state, Nanuque, rio Mucuri, downstream from Santa Clara Dam, ca. 17°53'28''S, 40°12'58''W, Brazil.
Etymology Glanidium: Diminutive of Greek glanis, meaning catfish, i.e. "small catfish" literally.
