Common Name
Type Locality Lake Tanganyika, near village Bwassa, 7°25'S, 30°10'E, about 65 kilometers south of Moba, Shaba Province, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Etymology Lamprologus: Greek, lampros = light + Greek, lagos = hare.
