Overview The first spawn was on Tuesday 28th of October 2014. The breeding group consisted of 3 males and 2 females. The smallest male was at least 63mm SL and the smallest female was at least 50mm SL. The individuals were obtained from Eric Bodrock.

Behaviour The males will frantically follow the females until they begin their spawning embrace. Afterwards, the make and female will sit side by side for roughly 1 minute motionless before the female lays the eggs on the glass.
Eggs There were 20 grey eggs laid which were 1.7mm in diameter.

Segregation After they laid the eggs, I removed them from the parents' tank and places them in a breeder box outside the fry tank until they hatch and are big enough to join the other fry.
