Scientific Name Phenacorhamdia boliviana  (Pearson, 1924)
Common Name
Type Locality Huachi, Bolivia.
Synonym(s) Heptapterus bolivianus, Imparfinis bolivianus
Etymology Phenacorhamdia from phenax, imposter or cheat and Rhamdia, a related genus, i.e., a false Rhamdia, presumably referring to similarity to that genus.
