Scientific Name Parakysis anomalopteryx  Roberts, 1989
Common Name
Type Locality Kapuas basin, Sungai Seriang, a forested tributary of the Sungai Palin, 37 kilometers west of Putussibau, Borneo, Indonesia.

Identification Catfish of the genus Parakysis are cryptically coloured fishes found in small forest streams of Sundaic Southeast Asia. They have a highly rugose skin with tubercles all over the body, branched mandibular barbels, a long, low adipose ridge and a forked caudal fin.
