Scientific Name Glanidium catharinensis  Miranda Ribeiro, 1962
Common Name
Type Locality Rio do Braço do Norte, São Ludgero, Municipio de Tubarão, Santa Catarina State, Brazil.
Etymology Glanidium: Diminutive of Greek glanis, meaning catfish, i.e. "small catfish" literally.
