Distribution | Asia: southern and central Japan, Taiwan, Korea, China, Amur basin. Introduced to various areas in Europe and Asia and currently occurs in the Dnieper, Dniester , Danube basins, the Scutari and Prespa lakes and Aliakmon River in Greece. Several countries report adverse ecological impact after introduction. Also introduced in Iran and Turkmenistan. |
