Distribution Europe: brackish waters along coasts of Gulfs of Bothnia, Finland and Riga, and in estuaries of large rivers; freshwaters of Europe (including Italy, Greece, Ireland, mainland Denmark to northern Germany and northern Norway, Sweden and Finland) (Ref 55856). Reported from 2 catchments, Forth and Clyde, in Scotland.
