Species Information
Size	300mm or 11.8" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification	Basic body colouration is slate grey lightening to a dull yellow in the belly region. Medium sized black spots adorn the body and fins except the head and pectoral fins which are covered in smaller black spots.

Further Information
Reference	DATZ 2/1990, pp 115-118. Aqualog shows a species of Ancistrus with a only remotely similar colouration as the original Hypostomus sp.
