Scientific Name Aulonocara baenschi    Meyer & Riehl, 1985
Common Name
Type Locality Nkhomo, 8 kilometers west of Benga, Lake Malawi [Lake Nyasa], southeastern Africa.
Etymology Aulonocara: Greek, aulos = flute + Greek, kara = face, head.
