Scientific Name Beaufortia kweichowensis  (Fang, 1931)
Common Names Chinese Hillstream Loach
Butterfly Hillstream Loach, Hong-kong Pleco
Type Locality San-ho Hsien, Kweichow [Guizhou], China, elevation 650 feet.
Etymology Beaufortia: Named after Beaufort, he worked with Bleeker in an Atlas of Ichthyology from India and Malaysia, 1902-1962. kweichowensis after Kweichow, where the type specimen was collected.
