Distribution	Africa: Coastal basins from Southern Guinea to Central Liberia, associated with forested biotopes. Also reported from Côte d"Ivoire and Ghana, coastal basins of Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Nile basins, Gambia and Senegal. Widely distributed in West Africa.
