Scientific Name Dawkinsia exclamatio  (Pethiyagoda & Kottelat, 2005)
Common Name Harry Potter Barb
Type Locality 3 kilometers downstream of Thenmalai Dam, on Thenmalai-Trivandrum Road, Kallada River, Kerala, India.
Synonym(s) Puntius exclamatio
Etymology Dawkinsia are named for Richard Dawkins, for his contribution to the public understanding of science and, in particular, of evolutionary science.
