Type Locality	Mouth of arroio do Ouro, which flows into rio Maquiné, between Barra do Ouro and Maquiné, 29°35'S, 50°17'W, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil.
Etymology	Greek, epaktios, -os -on = at the seaside + Greek, noton = back
