Etymology	Greek, hemi = half + Greek, psilos = hairless + Greek, ichtys = fish.
Species Information
Size	156mm or 6.1" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification	Dorsal series of lateral scutes on both sides not meeting along the middorsal line between the end of dorsal-fin base and the adipose fin; both tooth lobes approximately equal size; orbital diameter 12.0-14.7% HL.
