Common Name
Type Locality São Bernardo Cave, side pool, 13°49'S, 46°21'W, Terra Ronca State Park, São Domingos, Goiás State, Brazil.
Etymology Greek, itys, ityos = circle + Greek, glanis = a fish that can eat the bait without touching the hook; a cat fish.
