Scientific Name	**Lithogenes wahari** Schaefer & Provenzano, 2008
Common Name
Type Locality	Caño Päwä, about 30 minutes walk from its mouth with Río Cuao, Amazonas, Venezuela.
Etymology	The specific name wahari is taken from the Piaroa name Rúa-Wahari, the god of the creation according to the Piaroa peoples.

Habitat Information

Feeding	Wild caught fish had no indication of animal matter in its gut content, so presumably a mainly vegetarian diet. User data.
Furniture	In nature, the habitat is rocky, fast-flowing streams, so an aquarium should be set up with high current and large smooth stones.
