Species Information

Identification	Lithoxus is a genus of small, rheophilic loricariids that are externally characterized by a strongly dorsoventrally depressed body, a large round oral disk, and small tooth cups with few teeth.
General Remarks	Inhabits stony rivulets; clings to rocks in the rapids.
