Feeding Feeds on a variety of carnivore items, such as fry, eggs from spawning fish, insect larvae and other small aquatic creatures. Can be difficult to wean off live or frozen food. Home made "shrimp-mix" is often accepted. Typically a nocturnal feeder, but can often learn to feed when lights are on. User data.
Furniture In nature they are found in rock crevices in a rapids area. A suitable setup in an aquarium would be large rocks stacked to form small compartments where these fish can hide. High flow from a streamer-pump would help to resemble the natural environment.
