Type Locality	Okano River on rapits 0.5 kilometers south of village of Na, 0°48'35''N, 11°38'47''E, Woleu-Ntem Province, Gabon.

Etymology	Microsynodontis: From the Greek mikros, meaning small, and synodontis; in reference to the small size of members of this genus. From latin, nasatus meaning big nose, referring to the rather long snout of this species.
Species Information
Size	37mm or 1.5" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification	The genus Microsynodontis has an interrupted lateral line. The caudal fin is usually rounded or truncate, sometimes with a slight indent. There is a long adipose fin with no fin ray. Three pairs of barbels with the mandibular barbels branched.
