Breeding | The fish spawns amongst the roots of floating vegetation. Moving the vegetation to a different tank gives the newly hatched fry a chance to escape the parents predation (or moving the parents out of the spawning tank). TDS around 100 ppm, pH around 6.8-7. Temp 26°C. Fry at three-four weeks are 10mm. |
