Type Locality	Ngounié River, approximately 2°12'S, 11°30'E, Gabon.
Synonym(s)	Parauchenoglanis boutchangai
Species Information
Size	225mm or 8.9" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification	For this species preserved specimens are uniformly brownish red, paler ventrally. In young specimens, 5-7 pale vertical bars may be visible on the flanks. Pectoral, pelvic, anal and sometimes also the dorsal fin are more or less transparent.14-17 anal fin rays.
