Scientific Name Poecilocharax weitzmani    Géry, 1965
Common Names Black Darter Tetra
Black Morpho Tetra, Weitzmans Raubsalmler (Germany)
Type Locality Igarapé Préto, along Upper Amazon, near Belem, about 60 kilometers below Leticia, Brazil.
Etymology Weitzmani: Named to honour Dr. Stanley Weitzman.
