Common Name
Type Locality	Nam Veo, tributary of Nam Phao, 25 kilometers east of Lak Sao, Nam Theun watershed, Mekong River Basin, Laos.
Synonym(s)	Pseudechensis sympelvicus

Species Information
Size	57mm or 2.2" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification	Fishes of the genus Pseudecheneis can be differentiated from other Glyptosternine fish in having a thoracic adhesive apparatus consisting of a series of transverse ridges (laminae) separated by grooves (sulcae) (de Pinna, 1996; Roberts, 1998). Pelvic fins joined for their almost all their length, except for a small notch at the fins edge. Pelvic fins widely separated to base in all other Pseudecheneis.
