Type Locality	Amazon River (Maranon), between Iquitos Island and Lapuna Island, close to the shore of Lapuna Island, Loreto, Peru.

Etymology	Greek, rhadinos, -e, -on = soft, flexible + Latin, lorica, loricare = cuirass of corslet of leather;
