Scientific Name Rineloricaria setepovos  Ghazzi, 2008
Common Name
Type Locality Santo Angelo, rio Piratini na Fazenda Hinz, distrito de Coimbra, 28°42'S, 54°25'W, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Pronunciation rhine lor ee kar ee ah.
Etymology Greek, rhinos = nose + Latin, lorica, loricare = cuirass of corslet of leather. Named to honour the "Setes People of the Missions" in the northwest of the Rio Grande do Sul, one of the original Jesuit settlements in the area that is now inhabited by Guarani Indians.
