| Identification | Back and head are brown, a dark brown band is present along the lateral line, a broad dark line on the belly from the base of the pectoral fin to the anterior part of the base of the anal, this line continues indistinctly, as faint speckes above the base of the anal fin, belly pale, fins generally uncolored, the base of the caudal and dorsal fins being somewhat darker. Similar to S.zairensis but the barbels are shorter in S. djeremi. |
