Distribution | Indo-West Pacific: Red Sea and Knysna, South Africa to Japan and south to Australia. Reported from New Caledonia. Mediterranean sea: Turkey. In Japan, this name has often been misapplied to Sillago japonica. Often misidentified as Sillago lutea or Sillago vincenti. |
