Scientific Name Xyliphius anachoretes    Figueiredo & Britto, 2010
Common Name
Type Locality Rio Tocantins bgelow dam of Serra da Mesa Hydropower Plant, affluent of right bank of rio Tocantins, 13°37'51''S, 48°07'01''W, Goiás State, Brazil.
Etymology From the Greek xyliphion, meaning a piece of wood; in reference to the overall appearance.
